Statewide Student Support

No matter where you attend, students have access to a variety of resources to support academic success. Below are the resources available at the USU Southwest locations. Some services may be available at your location in-person while others you will access remotely. Every student will be assigned a success coordinator who will be your central point of contact for any questions or concerns you have. They can help you understand campus resources as well as help you with localized tutoring or campus events, the financial aid office, our wellness psychologists, or finding your academic advisor.


Academic Advising

At USU, you have access to academic advisors who help you graduate faster. Academic advising is key to your success and available to all USU students. Stay on track to graduate by contacting your advisor regularly. You will also be assigned a success coordinator who will be your central point of contact and can help connect you with resources to support your success. Appointments can be made online at


Library Services

Students attending classes around the country can access virtually all databases, e-journals, and e-books from any location. Additionally, the library will mail printed books to students free of charge. Students can also borrow books from any Utah academic library. Find out more at



Free tutoring is available in a variety of subjects through one-on-one sessions either face to face or online. Online tutoring in many subjects is also available through and the Academic Resource Center. Check out all your tutoring options to stay ahead this semester at


Disability Resources

The Disability Resource Center (DRC) ensures everyone can fully participate in university programs, services and activities. They can help you overcome any barriers that may otherwise limit your academic potential. Military Support

Utah State University is in the top 15% of schools nationwide that deliver the best experience for military students. We also have advising services tailored to military and former military students. Our Veterans Resource Office has dedicated staff who are educated to help students overcome some of the unique challenges faced by active military or veterans returning from active duty zones. Wellness Support

Utah State University is dedicated to providing wellness support to Statewide Campuses. The services available vary based on location, however, all have access to Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS). Students can have one-on-one counseling sessions, take psychological assessments, access self-guided resources, and more. Learn more at


Testing Services

Visit our Testing Center to schedule an exam, find a proctor, or if you need to take a national standardized exam (GRE, GMAT, LSAT, etc) for admission, placement, certification, or licensure. USU E-Learning Testing Services is committed to the highest standard of academic integrity. The online materials & testing system has been designed to assist students in finding certified proctors and testing locations and securely distributing course material.



Make a difference at your campus by getting involved or voicing a concern through Utah State University’s Student Association (USUSA). Any student can submit comments/concerns to their student representatives through the myVoice program. Be more involved by serving in USUSA, which allows you to be more connected to USU's Statewide Campuses system, boosts your resume by adding skills like managing budgets and leadership, and a large portion of your tuition is covered.
